Online British Canoeing Coastal Navigation & Tidal Planning Courses

I’m excited to announce that after completing the British Canoeing training, Jersey Kayak Adventures is now able to offer Coastal Navigation & Tidal Planning online. This complements our classroom-based courses.
The advantage of an online navigation course is that there is no need to travel to the class. Instead of having to give up a days kayaking you can now complete this certificated course online and get more time afloat.
The course is available as a series of 5 x 2 hour online classes to give you more time to practice your navigation skills. Shorter and longer online courses can also be arranged on request.
It is possible to tailor the classes to suit the interests of the participants. In the past, I have run the CNTP for divers, open water swimmers and rowers.
As with our classroom-based training, there will be an opportunity for one to one coaching and trip planning activities. We’ll base the navigation training on the fantastic waters around Jersey, the island of the 12m tides. At the end of the course, you’ll have planned sea kayak trips that you could go away and paddle.
Class size will be limited to six participants, so it will be possible to give you plenty of support.
