We are a British Canoeing Delivery Partner

Derek Hairon, our Director of sea kayaking at Jersey Kayak Adventures, explains why we signed up to become a British Canoeing Delivery Partner. The quality mark is an excellent way for clients to know that we meet the national standards of British Canoeing, the governing body for paddlesport in the UK.

A British Canoeing Delivery Partner must meet a range of criteria. Appropriately qualified staff lead all our kayak tours, coaching courses and, British Canoeing approved assessments.

We must meet national standards with the equipment used. Staff must operate within the remits of their qualifications. Plus, we must have a suitably qualified and experienced Director of paddlesport.

As well as being a British Canoeing approved centre, we are also inspected each year by the Ports of Jersey who issue our operating licence.
